Episode 006 | Jayla Siciliano Tells Us Why You Should Take Emotion Out of the Sales Process

Jayla Siciliano is the founder of Bon Affair premium wine spritzers. During seven years as a product specialist for Diesel and Burton Snowboards, happy hour was an essential job skill. Jayla needed a lighter wine option that fit her active lifestyle, so she made it her mission. She quit her job to create a better wine spritzer worthy of America’s awesome wine culture. While getting her MBA at USD, she consulted beverage experts. The spritzers had to share her values—real wine, all-natural, zero added sugar. After raising an initial $450K to launch her business Jayla appeared on ABC’s prime-time show Shark Tank and made a deal with Mark Cuban. Most recently she appeared on ABC’s spin-off Beyond The Tank. Today Bon Affair has a new product line called Vice Meets Virtue which is sold exclusively at Total Wine across the country and online. With a new found passion for helping other entrepreneurs, Jayla launched jayla.info and the Ignite Investor Program. Additionally, Jayla is a mentor with The Founder’s Institute and does Brand Management for Terravant Wine Company. When she’s not working she’s enjoying the outdoors in beautiful Santa Barbara with her husband, son and little dog Cooper.
